All of our candles are handmade using 100% natural vegan soy wax and pure cotton wicks. As I make and carve each candle by hand, candles may slightly vary in appearance. Sometimes candles come with a “frosting” effect - lighter spots that appear around the base. Note that these only appear on pure soy wax where no additives have been used. Some candles may be a little darker or lighter than they appear in the picture, which is also due to different screens displaying colours differently.

In antiquity, it was believed that the narcissi were picked by Persephone before her ascend to the Underworld, and in other myths, they were worn to celebrate Demeter, Persephone’s mother. They are the national flower of Wales and a favourite subject of classical English poetry.
